Life Support

To gain this award candidates must be able to perform effective CPR on a manikin, turn a live casualty, show action for vomit and the recovery position and be able to treat bleeding, choking and shock.

Prerequisites: None

This award includes the following skills. awareness of own safety, checking responsiveness, sequence of life support, action for vomit, recovery position, cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), diagnosis and treatment of bleeding, choking and shock.
